	What is it good for? DUPLIPROX allows you to make duplicate copies of the most commonly used 'read only memory' (ROM) type RFID cards with 64bit/40bit serial number widely used as key for access control systems. Who needs it ? Many access control systems will not allow you to delete a single lost key but you will need to delete all keys and re-learn all other keys. Using DUPLIPROX you could store backup copies of the keys and if a key is lost you can use the backup to delete the lost key. The writeable card can be re-used to make a new backup for the next card. Some access control systems use 'master cards' or 'programming cards' for special functions. It may be helpful to have several copies of such cards. What else do I need? DUPLIPROX comes ready to use with CR2032 coin size lithium battery and a writeable card so you can use it immediately. Depending on your application you may need several writeable cards which can be re-written several thousand times. How to use it? Good news! It hardly could be any more simple to use: There are two buttons for 'read' and 'write' and two LEDs for 'success' and 'failure'. We are confident this is all that needs to be explained. How to turn on and off? No need to switch DUPLIPROX on or off since it will be ready to read or write any time. No empty battery because somebody forgot to switch the device off. What is the battery life expectancy? While not in use the power is lower than the battery self discharge and the expiration date of the battery is the only limiting factor. Reading and writing a card is done in a fraction of a second and so a CR2032 battery will allow you to copy thousands of cards. How do I find out if it can copy my cards? The cards DUPLIPROX can copy often are referred to as 'EM' cards or 'EM410x' compatible cards. If your cards are labled 'HID', 'Mifare', 'Legic' or 'Hitag' DUPLIPROX will NOT work.
